Last night I was lucky enough to attend the Hollywood Life Magazine Young Hollywood Awards — and it was full of the hottest up-and-coming stars, as well as some classic veterans of the screen.
Seen on the video above are a few interviews, including Taylor Swift, who received the biggest honor of the night — the ‘Superstar of Tomorrow’ award. She was such a gracious recipient, and happy to answer a quick question for us about her upcoming album.
One of my favorites of the night was Thomas Dekker, who received one of the six ‘One to Watch’ awards of the evening for his role in ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.’
Thomas also receives the honor of being my most awkward interview of the night. I don’t watch ‘Terminator,’ and I must have missed the episodes of ‘Heroes’ he was in. But the guy was a good sport, and he likes to laugh at things that are minimally funny. So I felt I should laugh with him, to make the situation that much more awkward for both of us.
ANTM alum Adrianne Curry is also in the clip above, and she shared her fashion tactics with us and passed along how we could get our hands on her hand-me-downs.
The show started a whopping hour and a half late, so I was able to get inside and catch the whole thing. Of course that means a lot of the stars were waiting for a long time, and indulged themselves with quite a few cocktails before taking the stage. Definitely made the awards show much more interesting.

More EXCLUSIVE Photos from the Young Hollywood Awards featuring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Intern Traci, J.J. Abrams, Taylor Swift, Amber Heard, Nikki Sixx, Kat Von D, Mario, Thomas Dekker and Tony Hawk are after the jump.
After the show Crest Whitestrips sponsored a party flowing with free drinks for everyone — and a lot of the stars stayed to celebrate. Joseph Gordon- Levitt had a dance-off with ‘Hollywood’s Newest Scene Stealer’ Adam G. Sevani of ‘Step Up 2.’ Both put up a good fight, but Joseph eventually won with his pop-and-lock pie in Adam’s face.
Brittany Snow was dancing all over the floor (and gentlemen) along with ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Andrea Bowen. Best drunk dancer of the night goes to Jon Hamm of ‘Mad Men’ fame. That man can drink — probably because he graduated from my alma mater. I always thought I would like him.
Many more red carpet interviews (including a crotchety Donald Sutherland, J.J. Abrams, Alex Frost and others) from the 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards will be posted soon, so be sure to stay tuned to SocialiteLife to get the scoop on all your favorite soon-to-be trainwrecks.
