OK, Emma Stone‘s Burberry bustier and sparkly skirt combo from Burberry was to die for. Last night (November 13th), Andrew Garfield‘s main squeeze attended the 9th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at 548 West 22nd Street in New York City. Stone cover’s Vogue’s Best Dressed issue (well deserved), out on newsstands November 20th.
Ashley Greene needs to go back and have a chat with her stylist about that get-up, because it looked silly. Kudos to her, however, for a bomb-ass body. I’m on the fence about Christina Ricci‘s cut-out color block dress by Richard Chai. ”A” for effort, I suppose?
The event is held each year to recognize up-and-coming designers. CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg brought a sleek-looking Chelsea Clinton up to the podium, who then introduced her friend and keynote speaker, Christopher Bailey of Burberry.
The runners-up receive $100,000 and mentoring from some of the most brilliant minds in fashion. Greg Chait, designer of knitwear at Elder Statesman, won the top prize of $300,000.
