Emily Blunt And Ewan McGregor Promote ‘Salmon Fishing In Yemen’ At Toronto International Film Festival

Emily Blunt and Ewan McGregor had a fantastic weekend at the Toronto International Film Festival where their BBC comedy Salmon Fishing In Yemen was well received. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is “the tale of a stuffy British fisheries scientist who is asked by a fishing-obsessed Arab sheik to do the impossible — introduce British salmon to the wadis of Yemen.”

Sounds kind of boring, right? Well there must be more to the plot than that because within an hour of the films premiere at the film festival, at least six domestic distributors were interested in the movie. No acquisition has been made yet, but this movie it is likely to be the first major acquisition out of Toronto this year, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

That is great news for the stars who attended the festival premiere in matching black ensembles. Blunt didn’t have her adorable husband John Krasinski on hand at the event, but that didn’t stop her from enjoying herself. Blunt and McGregor are seen laughing and smiling on stage at the event, the two clearly have chemistry.
