Emile Hirsch Spills About ‘Milk’

December 1st, 2008 // 1 Comment

Lactose tolerant star Emile Hirsch chatted with New York Magazine about his trepidation in taking on the role of Cleve Jones in the Gus Van Sant-directed feature Milk.

Starring alongside his Into The Wild director Sean Penn, Hirsch expressed his concern in taking on the role of a gay activist. “I didn’t want to overgay it. I didn’t want to come across as a caricature,” Hirsch confessed. Overgay?

There can never be too much gay, as far as we’re concerned. Throw some glitter on that bitch and spin, little straight boy, spin!
