When will she ever learn? Usually getting slammed for her die-hard conservative comments, this week Elisabeth Hasselbeck made some unsavory comments about Dancing With The Stars contestant Erin Andrews, insinuating that the sportscaster deserved the recent attentions of a stalker and peeping Tom. She said Erin’s costumes looked like “next to nothing,” and the stalker should have just waited to watch her on the show if he wanted a peek.
“In light of what happened and as a legal [matter]–and as inexcusable
as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on her in her
hotel room,” Elisabeth said. “I mean, in some way if I’m him, I’m like,
‘Man! I just could’ve waited 12 weeks and seen this–a little bit
less–without the prison time!’”
Ick. Erin then slammed right back at Elisabeth saying, with total class, “As a mother and a woman, I’m disappointed she went there.” What ensued is the following video where, in typical Elisabitch fashion, Hasselbeck (pictured yesterday at Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World event) tries to win our sympathies with heartfelt stories of her daughter and tears, trying to play dumb and act cute. Guess what? It isn’t working.
Watch Elizabeth break down in tears after the jump.
