One show or the right break can launch an actor into more success than they’ve ever had before, and that’s exactly what happened with Mad Men and Elisabeth Moss.
Elisabeth Moss flaunted her stuff for the camera recently as she posed for the cover of New York Magazine‘s week of March 10th issue. Seriously though, those are some damn good pictures. The one of her in the skimpy red dress holding the old camera? I love it. I would kill for that dress and that camera. And to be in that picture, actually. Basically I just want her life.
Elisabeth found her success on the show Mad Men, which is now about to enter its seventh and final season. In terms of her next career move, Elisabeth is surprised to realize that she doesn’t have to worry.
“I had to actually have that moment of observing that I have to read the whole script and decide whether or not I want to do this movie, because if I do it, the movie will get made, and if I don’t do it, the movie won’t get made. That’s new.”
Elisabeth also opened up about her relationship with Fred Armisen, which ended in divorce in 2010. “Looking back, I feel like I was really young, and at the time I didn’t think that I was that young. It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible. At the same time, it turned out for the best.”
Considering all of the success, present and future, that this woman is facing, I’d say it definitely worked out for the best.
