Dylan McDermott Goes Green, Saw A Ghost While Filming ‘Steel Magnolias’

Dylan McDermott took a break from filming FX’s American Horror Story on the Paramount Lot in Los Angeles yesterday (October 17th).  The drop-dead gorgeous star hopped on a bike and headed to Cafe Gratitude on Larchmont Blvd for lunch, the same eatery where Jake Gyllenhaal and Rashida Jones ate in early September.

Seeing Mr. McDermott again reminds me of his roles in The Practice and Steel Magnolias.  S-W-O-O-N.  In fact, an instance while filming Magnolias in 1989 sort of prepared McDermott for his new Ryan Murphy-produced series.

“I was doing Steel Magnolias in 1989 and I was in a car with my then-agent and Julia Roberts and we saw a ghost.  It’s the only time I’ve ever saw a ghost (sic). It was sort of vaporous. It was kind of in the ether… There was, like, a five-second pause. And then we were like, ‘Did anyone see that?'”

Right, ghosts.  Down in the deep south, by Truvy’s beauty parlour.  Anyway, please tell us there are more nude scenes of McDermott like this one to come.
