Duchess Kate Shows A Little Leg In Roland Mouret [PHOTOS]
Gorgeous, gorgeous! Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has the type of body designed for a long-sleeved cream dress like this, Roland Mouret’s “Lombarde” gown, according to What Kate Wore (and her eagle eyed fan, Melissa). Honorable mention goes to Duchess of Cambridge Style and everyone else on Twitter who helped to identify the gown.
A slit that stopped just above the knee allowed Kate The Great to show off the same Jimmy Choos she wore to BAFTA’s “Brits To Watch” gala in Los Angeles last july, along with a flawless pedicure (“watch this classic color just FLY off the shelves,” Victoria Arbiter joked).
Her Royal Highness accompanied The Duke of Cambridge to the Thirty Club inside Claridge’s Hotel in London tonight (May 8th), where William gave a speech to members of the media and advertising. According to the Daily Mail, these meetings were started in 1905 for the “betterment of advertising,” and for heavy weights to throw around ideas and make deals.
Diana, Princess of Wales and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh have made speeches at the Thirty Club in the past, and William has been invited on several occasions to speak. He politely declined then, but though it appropriate to agree this time, given that he will turn 30 on June 21st.
“The Duke has been invited for around nine years now and thought that it was right to accept the invitation this year because of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It also seemed rather apt as it his 30th birthday next month,” palace aids explained. “Other senior members of the Royal Family also suggested that it was an interesting event to attend.”
“On our way to a splendidly posh bash, in the presence of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge #bestbehaviour,” BBC sportscaster and former footballer Gary Lineker tweeted.
