Lady Mary Crawley has traveled over to the colonies!  Does the Dowager Countess know that her granddaughter is mingling with foreigners?

Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery made her way into the Ed Sullivan Theater to tape The Late Show With David Letterman today (February 9th) in New York City.  Dockery, who sounds very much like the Duchess of Cambridge, is making the press rounds to promote the Masterpiece Classic series stateside.  Filming on the third season commences this month in Britain.

“Essentially it’s about good storytelling,” Dockery explained about Abbey on The View.  And with season two focusing on World War I, “it’s really about a period of change for the aristocracy.”  The ladies were clucking like hens about Dockery and the cast, except for Elizabeth Hasselbeck.  She totally hasn’t watched it.

If you haven’t tuned into Abbey, we implore you to do so.  It’s quality television in a sea full of crap.
