‘Dexter’ Star Michael C. Hall Walks To Find Cure For Cancer

It’s no secret that Dexter star Michael C. Hall had quite the battle with cancer last year when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Despite being caught up in some salary drama with Showtime, Michael still had time to support walkers at the On Track for a Cure walk-a-thon. The walk’s goal is raise money to help find a cure for lymphoma.

Michael looked adorable at the event walking, posing for cameras, not acting like a creepy serial killer–it was great fun. According to MailOnline, Michael was always curious if he would die at age 39, as that’s when his father died. Instead, 39 was when he was diagnosed with the cancer.

Michael opened up about that time saying, “I think I’ve been preoccupied since I was 11, and my father died, with the idea of the age 39. Would I live that long? What would that be like? To discover that I had the Hodgkin’s was alarming, but at the same time I felt kind of bemused, like, ‘Wow. Huh. How interesting.'”
