Have you gotten a good look at Kim Kardashian‘s insanely large engagement ring? It’s a doozie. Designed by Kardashian’s close friend, jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, the emerald-cut ring consists of a 16.5-carat center stone with two 2-carat trapezoids. Total weight? 20.5 carats, estimated at $2 million.
Kardashian’s fiance, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries worked with Schwartz to design the perfect ring. However, Humphries didn’t need to do much explaining, as Schwartz knew exactly how to design her friend’s engagement rock. “I just knew I wanted it to be big!” Humphries told People.

Kardashian couldn’t be happier with her sparkler, which is very different from sister Khloe’s radiant cut rock (though equally as stunning). Kardashian told People, “In high school I went to Macy’s and bought this fake ring, my ‘perfect’ ring, and this is almost the exact same.”
Oh please. Like you didn’t do the same thing.
