Denise Richards To Write A Memoir About Marriage To Charlie Sheen

Denise Richards is writing a memoir about her marriage to Charlie Sheen, but it’s not what you think.  Richards wants to recall the good times, because their relationship has suffered enough bad press.  According to the New York Daily News, Richards told reporters Sunday at the 22nd Annual Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s “A Time For Heroes” carnival: “I get into the good stuff about my marriage because people have only gotten the rotten stuff. There was a beautiful love story between [us].”  The two were married for three years before divorcing in 2005.  They have two daughters together, Sam and Lola.

The book, which is due out July 26th, talks about Richards’ struggle to maintain a normal life for her girls while trying to remain civil with Sheen.  Richards said, “I went through a lot and I get asked a lot of questions about that time in my life so I figured that I would share my story and, hopefully, anyone that is dealing with challenges will know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel,” she said. “We had one of the worst divorces so if we get into a good place, that’s great.”

And what does Richards think about Ashton Kutcher replacing on Two and a Half Men? She wishes Kutcher the best, but she’s still Team Charlie.  “I am sad to see Charlie not on the show. Nobody can replace Charlie,” she said. “The show was written for him and he was so brilliant at it, but I think Ashton will make it his own.”
