Demi Moore and fellow celebrities Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn, Gerard Butler, Paul Haggis and Olivia Wilde united in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to raise awareness for the victims of the Jan. 12th earthquake in conjunction with Artists for Peace and Justice.
Moore used her power platform, Twitter, to inform followers about her humanitarian efforts by tweeting positive efforts and compassionate photos, according to The Daily Mail. Twitter followers replied with supportive feedback to images of Moore seen here holding Shakyna, who is suffering from malnutrition, as she visited
the pedeatric malnutrition ward of St. Damien’s children’s hospital.
Its immediate goal of the charitable organization, Artists for Peace and Justice, is to build schools in Haiti and provide medical
treatment for children.
