Demi Lovato, recently spotted in Manhattan, has even more to “Stay Strong” about as she (hopefully) lives up to the words tattooed on her wrists.
The Disney star, who left rehab earlier this year, is now dealing with her mom, Dianna Hart de la Garza, heading off to rehab for problems of her own. According to a source who talked the New York Post, “It has been a tough year for Demi, and her mom has been a constant source of support. But fame has also taken its toll on her family. Now [that] Demi is strong again, her mom could take some time to deal with her own issues.”
Although de la Garza is reportedly out of treatment already, the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader also has a constant reminder of her strength in the form of a tattoo that matches her daughter’s. Last month, Lovato revealed that her mom surprised her by getting a matching “Stay Strong” tattoo, just like the one she got in memory of her past struggles with eating disorders and cutting.
Besides her recent breakup with That ’70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama, Lovato has a lot to get excited about– including a new album, fresh tattoos, and even a new puppy, Oliver, that she shared on her Twitter this weekend.
