Debenhams To Make “Pippa Middleton” Bridesmaid Dresses!
Pippa Middleton is currently at the center of a “did she pad her butt” debate, which we believe she did NOT do. Come on, people. While that hullabaloo is going on, U.K. department store Debenhams announced that it was launching a limited edition bridesmaid gown dubbed the “Pippa Dress.” Naturally this frock takes after the gorgeous Alexander McQueen number Middleton followed her sister down the aisle in.
According to the Long Island Press, the department store will create a “lady-in-waiting list” due to the overwhelming demand. Well, if one can’t grab the cream number, they might be able to get their hands on the emerald green version of Middleton’s Temperley gown (the one she wore to William and Kate’s evening reception at Buckingham Palace).
Debenham’s Chief Personal Shopper Alain Mehada said in a press release, “Both men and women everywhere were instantly talking about Pippa, so naturally brides-to-be will want to emulate her classic look, both for themselves or their bridesmaids.” We have been inundated by customers asking if we have anything similar to the dresses worn by Kate, Pippa and the flower girls, but the ivory dress worn by Pippa is the most requested by far.”
Hell, I’d buy one just to watch TV in.
