David Beckham Suits Up For Malaria Cause

David Beckham joined Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London to launch the Malaria No More UK campaign. Looking hot in his suit, he urged others to join the fight against the disease. David missed out on celebrating Victoria’s 35th birthday, but at least his wife can know his time is well spent philanthropic efforts in addition to soccer. Along with former Olympic champion Denise Lewis and tennis player Andy Murray, they went to Downing Street to remind Brown of Britain’s promise to deliver 20 million malaria nets to Africa by 2010.

“For less than the cost of a football you can protect a family from dying,” said Beckham. “I urge the UK public to get behind the Malaria No More UK campaign to save a life and make malaria no more. I love it when Becks dresses up. It makes his dressing down that much more pleasurable.
