David and Victoria Beckham hopped aboard a flight to foggy London town today via LAX with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. Mr. and Mrs. are headed to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton Friday, and David has expressed his enthusiasm for the grand tradition via Facebook. Before heading to the airport, Becks took in a Lakers vs New Orleans game with Jeremy Piven Tuesday night at Staples Center.
Granted leave from his L.A. Galaxy soccer team, Becks is eager to be a part of William’s impending nuptials-The two became close while trying to win the 2018 World Cup bid for England. On his Facebook page, Becks posted,
‘I think a Royal Wedding, it’s amazing. It really is amazing. Our country needs it. Our country wants it. The British public love the Royal Family. I took my nan and granddad to Buckingham Palace when I got my OBE. They were so proud. It means so much to them. My granddad served his country and they were so proud of that. They brought me, my sisters, my mum up around the Royal Family and to see there is going to be one [a Royal Wedding] now is exciting. I was brought up around the Royal Family and around loving the Royal Family with my granddad, with my nan.”
David’s better half is not so thrilled about the timing of the royal wedding, as it limits her wardrobe choice. A prego Posh is panicking because she’s not feeling so pretty with a bun in the oven. A source tells the Daily Mail, “She doesn’t feel anything flatters her fuller figure and with the formal dress code, she’s even more restricted. Victoria’s known for putting a lot of effort into every outfit, so this has thrown her into a panic.”
Oh, just throw a caftan on and be done with it. This is the one day one one will give a rat’s tush what you’re wearing, commoner Posh.
