Darren Criss, Avan Jogia, Matt Dallas And Joe Jonas Celebrate Blue Jeans Go Green
Cotton Incorporated hosted an event to celebrate one million pieces of denim collected for its Blue Jeans Go Green™ (formerly Cotton From Blue to Green™) denim recycling program. In September, Blue Jeans Go Green™ announced a unique auction designed to raise awareness about textile recycling and to help the program collect its one-millionth piece of denim.
Fifteen celebrities, including Hayden Panettiere, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Britney Spears, Dwyane Wade, Darren Criss and more each contributed a pair of autographed jeans from their closets for “The Great Denim Challenge,” an online auction in which denim is the currency. Bidding concludes on November 3rd. The 15 pairs of jeans from the auction will be featured in an interactive display at the event. The evening will also include music by DJ Trey Smith.
