Yesterday, June 27, 2011, Daniel Radcliffe was honored by The Trevor Project with the Trevor Hero Award during “Trevor LIVE” at Capitale, presented by ING. The annual show benefits the life-saving work of The Trevor Project and also honored Ernst & Young LLP with the Trevor 2020 Award.
“The fact that I’m able to help with something like this makes me very, very proud,” Radcliffe told MTV News at the event. “It’s a huge honor, and it’s lovely of them to give it to me. I’ll say it again later, but the real heroes are the people who are staffing those call centers and picking up the phones saving lives every single day.”
Making major fashion statements were Johnny Weir and Brad Goreski (The Rachel Zoe Project). Johnny was outfitted in a sport coat with a button down white shirt and a lovely bow. Instead of pants, he wore a pair of sparkling black short-shorts.
Going along with the shorts trend, although his were more Bermuda length, was Brad Goreski. He paired his with a sport coat, white shirt and bow tie.
