Check out exclusive interview with DWTS finalist, Peta Murgatroyd.
How does it feel to have made to the finals of DWTS?
“It feels amazing. It’s such a great opportunity and I’m so thankful to be involved. I’m really thrilled to be there.”
Coming into this competition, did you see yourself among the final three?
“I always go in thinking I will do everything in my power to win this. So yeah, I did believe I would be standing there but I never thought that it would really, really, come true (laughs).”
Are you at all nervous?
“Actually, I am a little nervous because we have the freestyle to do and its always a little nerve wrecking. You never know how it is going to go and how the judges are going to see it. We have a couple of interesting dances to do. They’re going to be exciting, fun, and full of energy. “
What does winning the Mirror-ball Trophy mean to you?
“It means everything to me. It kind of sums up my career and what I have been working for my entire life. To be awarded something like that on national television would be is such an honor. But, I’m glad to be standing there in the final three with two other amazing, professional dancers.”
Who do you feel is your biggest competitor?
“Right now, I would have to say William, especially with his women fan base.”
How was it working it with Donald Driver this season?
“He is amazing! I know everyone says their partners are amazing, but he truly is such a gentleman and an awesome guy. We have this little special bond and chemistry, like brother and sister. “
What did you like most about this season’s cast?
“Everyone is a jokester! We all played jokes with each other and we are all like a family. We share this loving bond and it’s sad to see someone get kicked off every week. “
The dance considered to be my worst enemy is…
“The Viennese Waltz. I prefer the Slow Waltz.”
Training for DWTS is comparable to..
“A long run on the treadmill. When you’re training, and going hard at it, you are working every single muscle in your body. It’s a great workout. “
My dream dance partner is…
“Ryan Gosling, Kellen Lutz, or George Clooney. “
I’m most fearful of…
“Pulling a muscle or breaking a bone.”
One thing most folks don’t know about me is…
“I am totally in love with cheese and Vinegar.”
Peta’s final dance airs live tonight at 8/7C on ABC. Tune in and cast your votes!
