Cristiano Ronaldo was his usual fashionable self as he attended the Marca Awards 2013 at Crystal Palace in Madrid, Spain earlier today (March 18, 2013).
The soccer stud wore a maroon satin tuxedo jacket, white shirt and jeans to the event. He looked a tad underdressed for the event, but very Euro.
At the event Ronaldo received the Di Stéfano Trophy, awarded by MARCA to last season’s best player. The Portuguese player assured: “It’s an honour to receive this award from the hands of Alfredo Di Stéfano and I would like to thank everybody.”
Alfredo Di Stéfano handed over the award to Ronaldo in person. “He’s a team player who entertains all of the Real Madrid fans,” he stressed.
Regarding his objectives for this season, Cristiano said: “There’s still a long way to go. We’re in the cup final. We’ve taken a big step forward in the Champions League. The league is a tough one, but we’ll fight to the end. On a personal level, things are going well, but what I want is to achieve Madrid’s objectives, which involve winning a big trophy.”
We like big things too Cristiano.
