Cory Monteith Hits The Slopes In Vancouver [PHOTOS]

Glee stud Cory Monteith is back in Vancouver for the holidays, and he took to the slopes to do a little snowboarding.

Cory spent the afternoon yesterday (December 21) boarding with an employee of Cyprus Mountain, home of the Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard Events of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Zach Woodlee, who choreographs the musical numbers for Glee, talked with Entertainment Weekly about what this show has meant to him, and how it has helped him become as a choreographer.

“Choreographing on the show taught me a wonderful lesson: Dance is not perfect. It has taught me to love dance again, not just technique. Certain rehearsals that I thought would be thorn in my side have become my favorite moments. I have loved teaching Cory [Monteith] ‘Single Ladies,’ seeing Harry [Shum, Jr.] learning older Jazz styles, working with Lea [Michele] on pointe, tangoing with Gwyneth [Paltrow], even talking with Chord on stripper technique. Teaching non-dancing actors how to move and be comfortable with millions of people watching them builds in some very proud memories for me.”
