Oh, how embarressing.

Nah, he’s fine.  He landed four more years and scored a congratulatory tweet from Prime Minister David Cameron, so President Obama can definitely go back to Britain for a state dinner “do over.”

During an official two-day visit last May, Obama made his best movie speech, which he thought was being accompanied by the United Kingdom’s national anthem, “God Save The Queen.”

Nope.  The orchestra of the Scots Guards took his toast as a cue to start playing, and protocol dictates that you don’t speak over the national anthem.  That’s just rude.

Queen Elizabeth took it like a champ, but didn’t toast Mr. President until after the song ended.  She’s a stickler for the rules, that sovereign.

America, you’re great.
