Christina Aguilera repped Mickey Mouse at last night’s launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note II in Beverly Hills. Earlier in the day, Aguilera delivered a keynote at the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Conference.
Sitting in a conference room full of reporters at the W Hotel in Hollywood, The Voice judge kept reiterating how important it was to tune out the noise coming from blogs. Quite frankly, Aguilera is too damn busy being a mom and a singer to worry what people say about her. Preach!
“I don’t read blogs,” she told the audience. ”It’s just God-knows-who in Buttf— wherever writing hate sh–. You can’t take it seriously. I’m sure you’ve all been hated on at some point by buttf— people.
“I’m a mother. I’m a businesswoman. I have a zillion and one things going on in my head, on my plate, creatively,” Aguilera added. “I put my son to bed then I go right into my backyard, which is my studio house. It’s a lot. I really truly don’t have time for the static noise. It’s just not real. They’re not real magazines. It’s trash. It’s rumors.”
As far as The Voice is concerned, Aguilera is proud of the show and so glad to be a part of its positive tone.
“I’ve not actually seen a full episode of any of the other music shows. I saw the commercials early on of American Idol of Simon [Cowell] being a dick. I was like, ‘Man, that’s not what it’s about!’ I didn’t want to treat people like that. I wanted to do The Voice to show that we can be positive. We don’t have to knock people down.”
Also at Samsung’s bash: Eliza Dushku, Rick Fox, Vanessa Hudgens, Julianne Hough, Amber Riley, Adrienne Bailon, Kate Walsh, Kevin McHale, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Octavia Spencer, Josh Hopkins, Jaleel White, Luke Wilson, Scott Porter, Matt Rutler, Joanna Krupa, and Jamie Lynn Sigler.
