Christian Bale No Longer On Death’s Door

September 28th, 2009 // 6 Comments

We were very concerned with how thin Christian Bale had grown for his role in The Fighter opposite Mark Wahlberg.

After whittling down to a shockingly low weight to play crack-addicted Dickie Eklund, it looks like Bale is slowly, but surely eating more than just an apple a day.

Good for him. He was starting to look like an Olsen twin minus the many layers of expensive clothing.

you’ve obviously never seen what he looked like for The Machinist. He dropped to 120lbs for that film. Picture an anorexic 6′ tall man and you get the idea.
