Funnyman, Chris Rock, has filed legal documents, requesting that a court establish the paternity of a 13-year old boy, whose mother claims Rock is the father. The papers were filed in Statesboro, Georgia, and in them, Rock indicated that if he were the determined to be the father, he would “contribute to the support, maintenance, and education” of the boy.
Kali Bowyer had first tried to file a paternity action against Rock last month, but withdrew it because Rock, a New Jersey resident, lives outside the southeastern Georgia court’s jurisdiction, the Associated Press reports.
Rock’s filing now starts the proceedings.
This is kind of an eye-opener for me. I mean, how many kids out there could I possibly have, that I don’t know about? I mean, I was pretty crazy in college. So crazy that I may have missed a number of anatomy classes that would have allowed me to understand why that scenario is pretty much impossible.
