Chris Pratt Visited A Children’s Hospital Dressed As His ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Character Because He’s The Best

Oh what’s that? You didn’t know that Chris Pratt is the best?

Well, you must have been living under a rock for the past few months. But it’s okay, I’ll forgive you guys and explain why he’s the best. And this doesn’t even include the hilarity of his ice bucket challenge.

Chris paid a very special visit to the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles yesterday, dressed in his Star-Lord costume from Guardians of the Galaxy. Yup, he did that.

1) He looks great in it. And 2) look at those smiles!

Chris had mentioned in interviews that he’d kept the costume for just such an occasion, so I’m glad he put it to good use. According to E! Online, the kids were thrilled! There was a special screening of Guardians for the patients, their families and the staff, and afterwards he “also visited patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases and the Pediatric ICU, as they were too sick to join the movie screening.”

This might be my favorite part of his visit, “Pratt spent extra time with one patient, Dylan Prunty, who is a longtime Lego fan and recognized the actor’s voice from The Lego Movie. They spent about 10 minutes reciting different scenes from the film.” Did someone get that on tape? Because I need to see that. At least there’s this photo.

Well Chris Pratt, we love you. Keep on being awesome. Launch the gallery to check out Chris’ smile as he left the hospital. It’s like he knows how awesome he is, but isn’t showy about it. Which honestly makes him even more awesome.
