We feel smitty-kitty-head-over-heels for Chris O’Dowd in Bridesmaids. We didn’t care that he was a midwestern cop from Ireland. Why bother with the fine print when that accent makes you giggle like a schoolgirl? A lot of you know O’Dowd from the British hit, The IT Crowd. For everyone else, the Kristen Wiig-helmed comedy was a great way to introduce O’Dowd to American audiences. How much do you want to squeeze his face in the picture above? Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig joined O’Dowd at the film’s Irish premiere last night in Dublin.
Judd Apatow got O’Dowd to sign up for another one of his projects-this time for the spin-off to Knocked Up. This time the spotlight’s on Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd, who played married couple Debbie and Paul in the 2007 film. In This Is Forty, O’Dowd will work at the record company owned by Paul’s character alongside Len Dunham, according to Irish Central.
Because we’re all 11 and fart jokes are always funny, we found a video of co-stars Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph tackling the subject of flatulence during a press junket in France. Check it out after the jump.
