Chris Evans Visits Gay Club In WeHo To Celebrate His Brother’s Birthday [PHOTOS]
After the release of The Avengers, girls have gone wild over the actor, even more than before. But girls aren’t the only ones gawking at Chris Evans, it appears.
The actor reportedly made an appearance at an unexpected venue last week, to celebrate the birthday of his openly gay brother, Scott. The clubgoers of Eleven, a nightclub right in the middle of West Hollywood, got a special treat when Captain America himself showed up at the gay bar. Evans made his way through the club to hug his brother and shouted “Happy Birthday,” to everyone’s enjoyment. He stuck around for a while to have a good time, embracing his gay fan base. Despite reportedly showing up with a pretty female date, the actor spent most of his time chatting up the go-go dancers, and the mostly male club goers.
Evans has always been an avid supporter of gay rights because of his brother, even revealing to Playboy magazine that he finds it “embarrassing and heartbreaking” that gay marriage is still a debatable issue. “It goes without saying that I’m completely in support of gay marriage,” the actor stated.
Evans’ excursion to his brothers birthday party was an especially momentous occasion, considering his recent arrival in LA after spending some time at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote his new film, The Iceman. The actor has a limited amount of precious free time before he continues the press tour for The Iceman, and starts filming the Captain America sequel next year.
