Chris Colfer is sitting on top of the world right now. He’s talented as all get-out, but humble as hell. The Glee star and Golden Globe winner’s children’s book, The Land Of Stories: The Wishing Well, will debut at #1 on The New York Times‘ children’s best-seller list for August 4th. Not too shabby.
Colfer can’t believe his luck, which is just adorable. ”#TheLandOfStories is debuting at #1 on the New York Times Best Seller’s list!!!,” he tweeted on July 25th. ”Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this. Thank you!!!”
Colfer who attended the Closing Night Gala 2012 Outfest Audience & Backstage held at The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood on Sunday night, is keeping a level head despite his meteoric rise to fame. At the TCAs on July 23rd, Colfer told the press his reservations about going on a book tour, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I was really nervous no one was going to show up because I’ve never done anything just by my lonesome, I’ve always had my Glee stars with me on those things. But it’s been fantastic and selling out some places. I couldn’t be happier.”
Are you the cutest, Mr. Colfer?
