Chris Colfer Mourns Cory Monteith In His Own Way, Lea Michele Gets Back To Work

'Glee' Remembers Cory
The cast of 'Glee' and their tributes to Cory Moneith.
As the cast of Glee returns back to work, the cast members are beginning to open up a bit more about the passing of Cory Monteith and how much of an incredible support team they are for one another.

Chris Colfer will beging work on the new season next week. He is currently in the midst of his The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns book tour.

Yesterday (August 05, 2013) Lea Michele was leaving a Hollywood, California sound studio. A series of tweets were exchanged between Lea and the experience in the studio which was her first official day back at work.

I can tell there is lots of love there between the crew. Each cast member grieves in their own way, and Chris Colfer is no different. He told HuffPost Live that while he appreciates the public’s support, he prefers to grieve privately.

“It’s difficult because it’s hard to mourn someone, but it’s another thing to mourn someone with the world,” Colfer said. “I think a line needs to be drawn, because it’s really unnerving to get messages from people, from 12-year-olds in Nebraska telling you how to mourn and telling you how to pay your respects.”

“I’m doing as well as I could be doing,” he said. “It’s a really, really unfortunate situation, but I think all you can do is move forward.”

I think we really need to remember that while as fans we can grieve in our own way, but we didn’t know and work with Cory Monteith on a daily basis. While someone may be smiling at a book signing or on the red carpet, that doesn’t mean that they moved on and all is well. Lets give the cast their space and let them grieve.
