Chris Brown, seen here yesterday (February 14) with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran at LAX, is a prime example of why celebrities shouldn’t tweet. Brown was riding a high with his win for Best R&B Album at this year’s Grammys. The night also happened to be the three-year anniversary of Brown’s assault on then-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Brown’s win caused some disbelief from celebrities like Miranda Lambert, Eric Stonestreet, Michelle Branch and actor Wil Wheaton who tweeted, “Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rhianna should read the police report on exactly what he did.”
As well all know, Chris Brown has a hard time handling the hate. So, like any other normal 22-year-old would do, he took to Twitter and did not hold back:
“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY. Now! That’s the ultimate FUCK OFF.”
Brown later deleted the tweet.
Oh Chris, when are you going to learn that a Grammy win may be musical validation, but the win wasn’t a validation of you as a person. Like it or not, he will always be remembered as the guy who beat Rihanna – badly.
Even though Rihanna has seemingly moved on from the incident, a majority of people haven’t. If Brown doesn’t acknowledge this fact, and grow up a little, he’s always going to remain bitter. He also needs to stop being a little bitch on Twitter.
