Cheryl Cole Dropped From ‘X-Factor’ Due To Thick Accent, Lack Of Chemistry With Paula Abdul

According to the latest TMZ update, Cheryl Cole has been let go from The X-Factor due to the fact that producers were concerned that her accent would be too difficult for American audiences to understand.

Plus, Cheryl and fellow judge Paula Abdul had a “lack of chemistry” … and Cheryl was more expendable.

The producers would like Cheryl, seen here in Chicago on May 19 at The X-Factor auditions, to return to the UK version the the show, but Cole is said to be fuming over how this was all handled, and may sever ties with X-Factor entirely.

Cheryl is being replaced by Nicole Scherzinger, who was slated to the shows co-host with Steve Jones. Apparently Jones will now host the show solo.
