If CinemaCon was handing out awards for the star who takes the most attention away from others, Charlize Theron would be the recipient. Theron wore the sexiest Dion Lee black dress, which featured strategically-placed slits at the front and a open back. Pair that with Givenchy strappy sandals and poof. WINNER.
Theron picked up the Distinguished Decade Of Achievement In Film award at the ceremony last night, held at Pure Nightclub at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
“If I knew that 3D was gonna be such a big deal I would have gotten that boob job ten years ago,” Theron told the audience of theater owners, according to Deadline. The Oscar winner was two films opening within a week of each other in June-Prometheus and Snow White And The Huntsman.
Taylor Kitsch, who has Savages and Battleship opening this summer, picked up Male Star Of Tomorrow, while Josh Hutcherson was honored with the Breakthrough Performer award. Chloe Moretz, in Kenzo, was given the Female Star Of Tomorrow, and Diego Boneta thanked “Mexico” upon receiving his Rising Star gong.
Michele Pfeiffer, 53, was given the first-ever Cinema Icon award, and Sylvestre Stallone the Career Achievement Award. Jennifer Garner, draped in David Webb jewelry, picked up Female Star Of The Year, with Male Star going to Jeremy Renner.
