Charlize Theron, looking like something mystical that emerged out of the sea, posed in Alexander McQueen for Annie Leibovitz amidst crashing waves and a grey sky for the December cover of Vogue (on newsstands November 22nd).
We then find Theron in a more seductive position, still by the ocean, but this time wearing a soaked Salvatore Ferragamo halter-dress. Each and every pose the Oscar winner struck made her look as eerily beautiful as her character in Snow White And The Huntsman, in which she plays the evil queen.
What does Theron think of co-star Kristen Stewart? “Kristen is just living this to the max and still has a sense of humor about it,” Theron said. “There’s this really lovely quality about her that just doesn’t give a f*ck. A lot of people say they don’t, but then they go home and cry and pop a Xanax. Kristen actually doesn’t give a f*ck. That’s what’s so refreshing about her.
“I look forward to killing her and taking her beauty,” Theron added, referring to the age-old fairy tale. “That’s what happens, right?”
For now, Theron is promoting a new flick, Young Adult, directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody, in which the South African beauty plays a boozy teen romance author who returns to her hometown with high hopes of winning back her high school boyfriend (Patrick Wilson). Said high school boyfriend is married, BTW. “Really the only way I was going to do this movie was if Charlize wanted to do it,” Reitman told Vogue.
