‘Charlie’s Angels’ Films In Miami, Robert Wagner Will Not Play The Voice Of Charlie’
The reboot for the hit 1976 series Charlie’s Angels has started filming in Miami, Florida (where the series takes place) and the ladies made sure to stay consistent with the glamour quotient the original was famous for. Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh appeared ready to take down the bad guys and gals yesterday. Sad news, though. TV Guide has confirmed that the legendary Robert Wagner, 81, will not play the voice of Charlie due to “scheduling conflicts.”
Back in May, Wagner told TV Guide how well the voice recordings were going and how pleased he was to follow in the footsteps of the late Jon Forsythe, who played Charlie in the series and two feature films.
The stars of Charlies Angels will appear at this year’s Comic Con, holding a panel on Saturday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
