Last night Charlie Sheen was officially roasted by his friends at Comedy Central. The event, which was hosted by Seth McFarlane of ‘Family Guy’ comes after Charlie Sheen has spent most of the year roasting himself on tour.
Although the event was to poke fun at Sheen, guests had a lot to say about Sheen’s ex-Brooke Mueller, who attended the event. Jeffrey Ross said of Mueller:
“She’s not very bright unless Charlie’s throwing a lamp at her.”
Ouch! I guess some may have forgotten that Charlie is the one being roasted, not his ex. However, Brooke didn’t look to upset about the jokes at her expense. Despite their drama that unfolded before the world earlier this year, the two appear to be on good terms and I’m sure Mueller expected to be the butt of a few jokes at the event.
Ross had some choice words for Sheen as well, commenting on the Two and A Half Men fiasco by joking that “whenever the writers put new lines in the script he tried to snort them.” Ross continued his roasting of Sheen by commenting that “the only time your kids get to see you is in reruns.”
What did Sheen think of the event?
Sheen wasn’t bothered by the jokes. The DailyMail reports that after the event, he told the roasters, ”Once again, I have come out unscathed. You can’t hurt me. Hell, I can’t even hurt me. Drugs couldn’t kill me. Sex couldn’t kill me. The press couldn’t kill me. Two and a Half Men couldn’t kill me. Did you really think your jokes were going to hurt me?”
Sheen is one resilient man. I kind of can’t help but admire his ability to bounce back after all the drama over the year.
