Celine Dion Is The Worst

No, really. She was voted as such. Total Guitar magazine (I’m a faithful subscriber) has voted Celine Dion’s version of AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long” as the worst cover version in the world.

Dion never released the song, but she did perform it six years ago during a VH-1 “Divas” concert in Las Vegas. Apparently, some Angus Young fan has a long, long memory.

“The number one worst cover song — Celine Dion covering AC/DC — is
sacrilege,” said Stephen Lawson, who is Total Guitar’s bitchin’ editor. “The best
covers are unlikely choices and they do something radical.”

You can see a clip for the performance here. Brace your damn self. It’s rough.

And the runners-up? A Sugababes and Girls Aloud version of Aerosmith and Run DMC’s “Walk This Way”, followed by Westlife’s version of Extreme’s “More Than Words”. Total Guitar hates the British. Almost as much as Celine Dion hates our hearing!
