Celine Dion Loves “My Heart Will Go On,” Thankyouverymuch Kate Winslet [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Earlier this week, Celine Dion defended her epic pop ballad, “My Heart Will Go On,” which Kate Winslet put on the chopping block while promoting the 3-D rerelease of Titanic.

“If I just count how many times I’ve sung it, maybe it’ll get me sick,” Dion said on Today (via New Zealand Herald).  “If she [Winslet] feels tired just hearing it, and like throwing up, I’m glad she was not the one singing it.

“‘My Heart Will Go On’ gave me the opportunity to be associated with a classic that will live forever.”

Winslet told MTV earlier this year that the beat makes her want to barf.  “I feel like throwing up when I hear it. No, I shouldn’t say that. No, actually, I do feel like throwing up,” Winslet, who was on the Boston set of Labor Day June 5th, said.  “I wish I could say, ‘Oh listen, everybody! It’s the Celine Dion song!’ But I don’t. I just have to sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll.”

Oh come on, Rose!  You don’t think that scene where you and Jack smooch at the bow of the ship was nauseating?  Watch Dion’s interview after the jump.
