Celebs Help Gulf Telethon Raise $1.8 Million Dollars

Last night Larry King hosted a celebrity-filled telethon on CNN to raise money for those affected by the oil spill on the Gulf Coast. Celebs like Kathy Griffin, Ted Danson, Gavin Rossdale, Jenny McCarthy, Ryan Seacrest, Ke$ha, Pete Wentz, Alyssa Milano and many more manned the phones as callers expressed their anger and grief over what is happening in the area.

Some celebrities, like Cameron Diaz and Justin Bieber filmed testimonials asking for assistance and help and you can watch Bieber’s after the jump.

Sting dedicated his via-satellite performance of “Fragile” with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra to the cause. Indie.Arie and Herbie Hancock also paired up for a rendition of “Imagine,” which closed out the show.

The money raised will go to the United Way, the National Wildlife Foundation and the Nature Conservancy. If you missed out and want to contribute:
