Here’s the latest on the celebrities in trouble with the law:
- Josh Brolin was arrested Sunday evening and charged with one misdemeanor count of domestic battery following a squabble with wife Diane Lane at the couple’s Los Angeles home.
The couple’s publicist, Kelly Bush, said in a statement that Brolin and Lane just wanted to put the incident behind them. “There was a misunderstanding at their home. Diane called the police. Josh ended up being arrested for the lowest-end misdemeanor charge of domestic battery,” Bush told E! Online. “Diane did not want to press charges and asked them not to arrest him, but in cases involving the possibility of any physical contact, the police have to arrest first, ask questions later. They are home together and are embarrassed the matter went this far.” [E Online]
This sounds a little suspect. I’m sorry, when a woman calls the police on her husband, it’s not a little “misunderstanding.” The woman was scared.
- A judge rejected Michael Jackson’s bid to delay his trial. Maybe we can finally get this thing going.
- As the trial for Robert Blake finally got underway, prosecutors accuse him of hating his wife. Well you didn’t think they were going say he worshiped the ground that she walked on.
- Rapper Young Buck was arrested for allegedly stabbing Jimmy James Johnson in retaliation after Johnson allegedly punched Brown’s mentor, Dr. Dre, during the taping of The Vibe Music Awards Nov. 15. Well, if he didn’t have street cred before, I guess he has it now.
