RADAR ONLINE reports that CBS wants Charlie Sheen back on Two And A Half Men. That’s right, after everything that’s happened (machetes atop buildings, warlocks and trolls, firings and lawsuits), the network’s president and CEO Les Moonves is speaking to executives over at Warner Bros. Television to see if everyone can forgive, forget and move towards rebuilding the sitcom. The site also reports that Moonves has spoken directly with the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre about bringing Sheen back. He said to Lorre, “Let us handle Charlie.”
Moonves wants to find a way to repair the damage done between Lorre and Sheen, citing that the “core issue” is their very damaged relationship. It’s going to be interesting to see if Moonves can convince Warner Bros. to reverse their decision to let Sheen go, especially after Sheen’s antics these past few weeks. Did we mention that Sheen’s taking his crazy on the road? Oh yes, he’s got twenty concert dates planned.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane and recall a time that was kinder and simpler. It was March 2009 on a sunny day in Los Angeles and Charlie Sheen was at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame to celebrate Chuck Lorre’s star. Are we feeling nostalgic for the good old days yet?
