Catherine Zeta-Jones Has To Share An Award

‘Tis the season for theater awards. As the Tonys near, the other award shows pave the way. The Drama League Awards gave their picks for excellence and, on Sunday, The Drama Desk Awards gave out their accolades. Except one of their awards was actually a tie. Catherine-Zeta Jones and Montego Glover had to share the award for best actress in a musical.

A tie? In what world would actresses share a trophy? At least they gave her and Montego their own little statues so they don’t have to create a trade off schedule. Although Catherine would probably just say something like ‘keep it, Love, I just don’t know where I would find space on my trophy wall.’ And Montego would smack her upside the head with the trophy, so yeah good thing they got two.

Zeta-Jones brought husband Michael Douglas, who looks pretty damn bored, and the award winner wore black like many of the ladies that evening. Brooke Shields went black and one shouldered as did Anne Hathaway, who mixed it up with a jump suit (her boyfriends like theirs in orange.)

See the complete list of winners after the jump.
