The Duchess of Cambridge attended her first Remembrance Sunday ceremony at the Cenotaph today, remembering fallen British soldiers. Kate Middleton, as well as the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex, all wore black for the mournful occasion.

According to protocol, all individuals who married into the family must watch from a distance, placing the Duchess on the balcony. Kate, who was recently rumored to be pregnant, wore a double-breasted jacket by Diane Von Furstenberg with two red poppies. And what would a royal occasion be without a fabulous hat? All three royal women sported extravagant hats, with Kate in a bowler style by Jane Corbett.
