The trailer for Nightcrawler starts out pretty normally.
Jake Gyllenhaal narrates, talks about the type of job he’s looking for, tells us he’s a hard-worker, photographs a traffic accident–then shit starts to get weird.
Nightcrawler definitely feels like a creepy movie, and super thin Jake seems more than up to the task. If you’ll recall, this is the movie that he lost all that weight for. And also the movie he broke his hand filming. Read More »
Umm, did anyone know that Taylor Lautner had a sense of humor? Comedic timing? Ability to tell a joke?
I knew none of this. So I was very pleasantly surprised today when I saw the first trailer for season two of the BBC Three show Cuckoo. Guys, Taylor made me laugh.
If you missed season one, the story followed Andy Samberg‘s character, a New Age-ie hippie, who marries into a uptight British family. But since Andy is busy with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the show recruited Taylor to play his hippie son. Read More »
Remember a couple of months ago when we chatted about Space Station 76 and I said how I couldn’t wait for a trailer?

Zac Efron should do everything shirtless because this is how he looks best. I don’t understand why he would even bother wearing clothes at this point.
It seems like he’s very into the outdoorsy activities lately. First we brought you Zefron shirtless on horseback. Now we have him topless and rappelling down a dangerous cliff! This is all for the new series Running Wild with Bear Grylls, which takes celebrities into wild locations for a two day journey. Read More »
And if the movie is half as good as this trailer, then Benedict Cumberbatch is definitely a shoo-in.
Benedict stars in The Imitation Game as real life figure Alan Turing, a mathematician known as the Father of Theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. The film follows Turing as he helps crack the German’s Enigma code during World War II, a fact that ultimately helped lead to an allied victory.
It historical and awesome and Benedict is really acting his ass off. Read More »
For obvious reasons, we’re big fans of Jesse McCartney over here at Socialite Life.
Not only is he cute and talented, but he’s also super nice! So you can imagine how excited we were to talk to the singer about his latest album In Technicolor when he dropped by the Socialite Life studio.
I also learned something very important about Jesse: he loves Michael Jackson. Read More »
