Now I don’t know how you guys feel about the Tony Awards, but it’s my favorite awards show, second only to the Oscars. And as the nominations this morning told us, it’s going to be a good year. Looking‘s Jonathan Groff and Elementary‘s Lucy Liu had the honor of announcing the nominations, and they were lovely at it.

But when Hugh Jackman is hosting your awards show, you’re gonna want some Hugh action early in the morning too.  Read More »

April 23rd, 2014 // 1 Comment

If you need another reminder that Neil Patrick Harris is a national treasure, then maybe his turn as a glam-rock, transgender singer in Hedwig and the Angry Inch will change your mind.

The showed opened on Broadway last night to rave reviews, especially for NPH himself. As Ben Brantley said in the New York Times, “Mr. Harris is in full command of who he is and, most excitingly, what he has become with this performance. That’s a bona fide Broadway star, the kind who can rule an audience with the blink of a sequined eyelid.”  Read More »

April 17th, 2014 // Leave a Comment

From Los Angeles to New York, from a goofy friend to a down-on-her-luck transsexual, Neil Patrick Harris has been making a lot of changes lately.

After the final season of How I Met Your Mother, Neil recently began starring in the Broadway musical Hedwig And The Angry Inch. Since he plays a transsexual rocker in the show, his hair and make up takes nearly two hours to get right, and his toddler twins, Gideon and Harper, have a lot to say about it.

Neil recently appeared on Good Morning America and talked about the twins reactions. “Gideon and Harper did come to the dressing room and see me getting made up. They think it’s hilarious. Harper loves the glitter. They both like the nail polish so they think all of that is very funny.”  Read More »

Neil Patrick Harris Vanity Fair

OK, so you may not see the snake in Neil Patrick Harris‘ pants above, but that’s just cause I’ve gotta tease you guys a little bit.

I mean, I can’t just give you everything all at once. But I can say that Neil’s portraits for Annie Leibovitz in the latest issue of Vanity Fair are spectacular.

Also, it’s not just any snake. It’s a boa constrictor.

A man with a nice smile is a great man in my book. Both James Franco and his younger brother, Dave Franco, have amazing, mega-watt smiles.

The older Franco recently had cause for celebration: opening an art exhibit in New York.

Interesting photos of the man are on display, including ones of him in drag. Anyone who visits is surely in for a treat. What has drawn more buzz as of late career-wise would have to be his Broadway debut. Read More »

Daniel Radcliffe Gets Serious For ‘DuJour’ Magazine, Talks Life In The Theatre

April 1st, 2014 // Leave a Comment

Well hello there Mr. Daniel Radcliffe. Look at you working your best serious face.

The  actor was busy showing off his modeling skills in DuJour Magazine. Look at those eyes. Look at the way they’re staring into your soul and telling you everything will be OK.

So the thing I love about Daniel–aside from his soul-piercing eyes–is that he’s constantly taking his post-Harry Potter career into new and interesting directions. Like all the theatre he’s doing; it’s amazing.  Read More »
