What’s better than one David Beckham? How about five David Beckhams!
That’s what British GQ has gifted us this month by giving the former footballer five different covers for us to ogle at. The idea for the different covers came to GQ from the David Beckham exhibition at London’s Phillips Galleries, which “will showcase how [his] image has evolved – and where it’s about to take him.”
So, we’re all going to London together for the exhibit, right? Read More »
This morning on The Today Show, WWE star John Cena teamed up with news anchor Natalie Morales to host. And by host, I mean play with adorable baby animals. When most of us think of John Cena we don’t really think of tiny, gentle, adorable things. We think of muscles, wrestling, and maybe that segment of Trainwreck where he’s hooking up with Amy Schumer. But that’s what made this beautiful segment of television one for the books! Read More »
Oh, so sorry, I guess that should technically say “football skills.”
If you’re a fan of royals stretching, running and be generally athletic, then you’re in luck! Because this is 100% the perfect post for you. Prince Harry and Prince William had quite a fun morning partaking in the annual Charity Football Match held at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.
I assume they’re playing on the same team? They are wearing the same colored jersey. I wonder if they’re really good at playing sports together. Read More »
Christmas came early this year, because sexy soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo decided to give us a tour of his mansion in Madrid, cribs style.
First off, he looks perfectly put together in the video, proving he’s hot in and out of uniform. When he takes us to the bedroom he says, “One of the most important things in my life…” wait for it, wait for it… “It’s that I need to rest.” Damn Cristiano, we really thought it was something else. In October, Olympic skier, and hottie of all X Games hotties, Gus Kenworthy, came out to the public.
Gus, now 24, had kept his sexuality a secret since the age of 16. “I was at the point where I couldn’t lie anymore,” he told UsWeekly. The athlete, who has a slew of female fans, was nervous about coming out because of his image as a pro skier.
“I was worried that I’d be known as ‘the gay skier’ … and everything else about me would be overlooked. I have a big fan base of young girls, and I didn’t want to disappoint them.” Luckily it seems the opposite is true, as Gus has received a ton of support since his announcement in October. “I was blown away by the support, and it’s insane how many people have come out to me — even closeted athletes.” Read More »
When I sat down to read Tom Brady‘s GQ interview with Chuck Klosterman (one of my favorite writers), I was prepared to read a long, detailed description of how he spoke, his dimply smile, what he wore, about his family…even, yes, about Deflategate (you know, the scandal where the Patriots were accused of deflating their footballs).
Wrong. First there’s the part where Tom mentions he doesn’t have any desire to do politics. He say, “There is a 0.000 chance of me ever wanting to do that. I just think that no matter what you’d say or what you’d do, you’d be in a position where—you know, you’re politicking. You know? Like, I think the great part about what I do is that there’s a scoreboard. At the end of every week, you know how you did.” Makes sense.

Olympic swim champ Michael Phelps fully admits the last couple of years have been pretty tough, but he’s now back on the right path, and, we might add, looking incredibly hot on his Sports Illustrated cover.
Phelps announced his retirement in 2012, after winning four gold medals and two silver at the Summer Olympic Games in London, only to rethink it and decide to train for 2016 Games in Rio. In a new interview with Sports Illustrated, however, he admitted his heart was just not into it. Then he was arrested for DUI in September 2014, his second arrest in 10 years, and rock bottom was hit. Read More »
Would you look at that Cristiano Ronaldo and Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. cuteness.
The Ronaldo boys were being adorable on the red carpet tonight at the world premire of Cristiano’s documentary, Ronaldo. (How many times do you think I can write “Ronaldo” in this post?)
The fans were out, Cristiano’s mom was there, Sir Alex Ferguson was there–it was pretty great. And I’ve learned one very important thing: Cristiano really does pose like his statue with the giant golden bulge. Read More »
