Journalist Max Foster asked questions about fatherhood and William’s passion for African wildlife preservation, particularly his work with the Tusk Trust.

Here are the six cutest things that came out of today’s preview:

#1 Prince William does things the old-fashioned way, driving his newborn home at 10 mph in the hopes of making it there in one piece.

“Driving your son and your wife away from hospital was really important to me.  I don’t like fuss, so it’s much easier to do it yourself.”

August 18th, 2013 // Leave a Comment

New information regarding the 1997 death of Diana, Princess of Wales was revealed yesterday, but Metropolitan police stress that this is not a “re-investigation.”

It’s quite a hard story to follow, given that the evidence being reviewed has not yet determined to be neither “relevant” nor “credible” according to many reports.

New claims in a 7-page letter submitted to the SAS by a disgruntled former soldier (“Soldier N”, as he’s referred to)’s in-laws allege that British forces had something to do with the the Princess’s death in Paris.

For his first official engagement following the birth of Prince George, the Duke of Cambridge went back Anglesey, Wales, a place he and the Duchess called home for the past few years.

Prince William attended the Anglesey Show, a two-day agricultural fair that attracts over 60,000 people.  The Duke was there to judge cattle, take part in a falconry exercise, and give a speech where he dabbled in a bit of Welsh.

Kelly Lynch Celebrates Socialite Life’s 10th Anniversary With Our 7 Favorite Kate Middleton Galleries

I’ll always have a soft spot for SOCIALITE LIFE, not only because it was my first real job as a writer, but because it was also the first big platform for my royal coverage.

People often ask why I enjoy covering the Duchess of Cambridge and the House of Windsor.  My answer rarely changes, because I remember how captivated I was by the idea of a future King falling in love with a commoner.  Each time, I’m taken back to November 16th, 2010, when Prince William and Kate Middleton walked into the State Rooms at St. James’s Palace.  Middleton wore the late Princess of Wales’ 18k blue sapphire Garrard engagement ring, selected by William to ensure that his mother didn’t miss out on all “the excitement.”  Read More »

Let’s Get Real, Kate Middleton Is Going To Need A Nanny

August 13th, 2013 // Leave a Comment

Whether or not she wants to admit it, the Duchess of Cambridge will need a nanny to help care for Prince George.

Report after report over the past year declared that William and Catherine wanted to go it alone, opting to raise their children without the help of nannies or baby nurses.

The simple fact is that this is an impossible task for someone like Catherine, who has a full-time job fulfilling royal engagements and working with select charities.  There is no conceivable way for the working mom to raise George without hired help.

Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau, younger brother of Dutch King Willem-Alexander, died today after a skiing accident in February 2012 left him comatose.

The prince was buried under an avalanche while skiing off-trail in Lech, Austria, according to ABC News.  He was under snow for 20 minutes before rescuers were able to pull him out.

The royal house confirmed the news today, saying that Friso never regained more than “minimal consciousness” after the accident.  Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that the news “still comes as a shock,” despite Friso’s vegetative state.

Prince Friso was only 44 years old, and until the ski accident, in the prime of his life,” Rutte said.
