Tonight (January 30th) in Syndey Australia, stars gathered at the 2nd Annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards at The Star.
Even though Cate Blanchett‘s Armani Prive gown reminded me a bit of Jessica Rabbit, I loved it. Blanchett can pull off almost anything, and when one stands up tall, that’s exactly what happens.
I wish I could say the same for slouchy-shoulders Nicole Kidman, whose pale complexion was lost in her yellow Erdem strapless dress. The lace detailing on the side of the design was lovely, but the overall look was unimpressive.
I do love the Brian Atwood heels on Kidman, though.
Not surprisingly, Hansel and Gretel‘s Gemma Arterton went for Erdem as well. Hers was the biggest offender of the night. It was far too bunchy to be an off-the-shoulder success. Pick a hemline!
