Oh to dress up like a sassy little fairy and move about in London town, like Carrie Underwood. I have to hand it to her costume designer for making the American Idol alumni look like both a Disney character and a smokeshow at the same time. Yesterday she had a Q&A with the Sun and then signed copies of her new album, Blown Away at HMV on Oxford Street.
On Thursday Carrie will perform at the Royal Albert Hall, one of London’s greatest stages. Today (July 19th), she appeared on BBC’s Breakfast to address news surrounding her public support of gay marriage. ”I’m pro non-judgment; I’m pro loving people. That’s kind of what I’m all about,” Underwood said (via USA Today).
Underwood joked that she doesn’t want to get tied up in the politics of things. ”I just want to sing,” she said. ”It’s scary to have a platform and have people listening to you, because at some point, you are going to say something that some people consider to be not so right.”
